But enough of that boring stuff. The trip was well needed and a great experience. We stayed in the Gaslamp District which is a great vacation destination. We got a chance to walk around the district and enjoy some time on the hotel rooftop (which was probably more swanky than we expected. We were the only ones with a kid).

Work/Vacation in San Diego Part I
We had the opportunity to travel to sunny San Diego this past week for a conference that I presented at. For those that read the previous blog, you already know the story of how we barely made it. And though the conference was the main objective of the trip, I have no pictures to prove it. All we have are pictures of how we made a vacation of it. Nevertheless, the conference was a success, my presentation was a success, and I may now have some publication opportunities.
